Data kidnapping. The Cryptography Virus.

While searching about Encryption over the net,  I found an interesting article in

http://www.intology.com/computers-internet/ransomware-virus-that-uses-1024-bit-encryption-key/

From what the site reported, it uses 1024-bit RSA Encryption to encrypt popular file extension (such as JPG, XLS, PNG, TXT, etc.) and demands a money from the victim.

According to Kaspersky Lab public should be on the lookout for ransomware virus named “Gpcode” which encrypts your files using an RSA encryption algorithm with a 1024-bit key.

It’s kinda ‘cruel’ to allow it to ‘kidnap’ our data. LOL.

Maybe I should find a countermeasures for this one..
